New Life in Canada

It was crazy weather - stormy, windy and snowy. I could not get going out. I thought what I am home would be better than going out. I just did some of things at home such as reading book out loud, watching on TV etc. The day before yesterday my application for health registration was returned because something was left out in my application form. I had to prepare some more. But I couldn't do it only one. About the section that left out, my homestay mom phoned to the health registration and told me about it. The section that left out had to be filled with some information of a teacher. But I couldn't have any teacher until Mar.29. I phoned to the ESL office the day before yesterday and yesterday but a person who I would like to speak to was not in the office. Someone told me she was sick. At last today I could get it from her and mailed the letter through the post office.
Tomorrow I would leave too far with my homestay parents if the weather is not stormy. Their some family live in that place where we are going to tomorrow. It would take about 4~5 hours by car. If we go, we would go by Moose jaw on the way to there. I often hear about there. I had better go to bed for getting up early in tomorrow morning.

so far so good

Team Korea made the most of its three hits to remain unbeaten in the inaugural World Baseball Classic, getting a clutch two-run double in the eighth inning from Jong Beom Lee on the way to a 2-1 victory over Japan in a beautifully pitched game Wednesday night at Angel Stadium.

Before the game, a techno version of Bryan Adams' "Heaven" blared through the speakers. After the game, Korea's 6-0 squad celebrated on the field as if it had indeed moved on to a glorious baseball afterlife.

One place the players won't be going is into their country's military. Prior to the start of the second round, the Korean government announced that it would waive for its players the mandatory three-year stint in the armed forces imposed on every Korean male -- if the team reached the semifinals in San Diego.

Wednesday's win made that a reality, but it certainly wasn't easy...

I have watched this game on TV at home in Canada.
It finished at 12 o'clock at night. Really I got impressed!!
Team Korea will fight against USA again to advance to final.
I wish I would watch the game. Good Luck!!

Secret of Life

Take time to Think. It is the source of Power.
Take time to Play. It is the secret of perpetual Youth.
Take time to be Friendly. It is the road to Happiness.
Take time to Work. It is the price of Success.
Take time to Pray. It is the greatest power on Earth.
Take time to Love and be Loved. It is the way of God.

The sun shone brightly in the sky and all the ground was corvered with sunshine. As walking the road, I couldn't keep my eyes open wide. So I may need some sunglasses.
I went to the library. After returning some books, I borrowed ten of books called "I CAN READ BOOK". The books was a little thicker than before.
The pronunciation of English is so difficult. Some words makes me embarrassed. It happened to me in the evening today again. As Reading the book, I was confronted with a word I don't know. I made my mind to ask Mom about that and I spoke it aloud to her but she didn't know it. For the reason she taught me about how to pronounce it. Even so It was not easy for me. I need a lot of practice. what I pronounced today is as follows below.
"whirl, twirl, widely, little, learn, later, cold, cord, old, fold, rolled, elephant, etc."
Especially "L" is so difficult for me to pronounce.

I walked too far today. The snow on the road was thick.
For not falling into snow, I had to follow the footprint left.
Though no windy, the day was so cold.
On my way to CAA (Travel Agency), I came across some crosswalk.
But the blinker didn't change however long I wait. Oh godness!!
There was no way but to cross the road just in good time.
The cord of camera showed up mistakenly.

That is as Drive-Thru.
We can see some cars waiting to order food next to building
I think again and again, It's impossible in Korea because there are so lots of cars.
Generally It take a little much time until getting the food.
My dad don't like the McDonarld and often say it's junk food.

The only way to see life clearly is to focus on CHRIST.
It's good phrase for me whatever the meaning is.

On my way home back,
I got splashed dirty water by school bus.
Oh Shit!! Damm it!! :(

Wolves

Wolves roam and hunt in wild places where there are no people.
There are only a few thousand left because most of their homelands have benn destroyed.
His fur is grey and his eyes are yellow.
He weighs as much as a grown-up man.
When he walks, his paws leave print marks. They're almost as big as a man's hand.
The size of a wolf pack depends on how much food it can find.
In springtime, when the days are warmer, the brown wolf finds a cave and has four cubs.
Wolf cubs tumble in the sunshine. They watch and learn from the wolves around them.
Wolf packs have rules they all obey.
If a young wolf is hungry and crawls too near, the grey wolf shows his teeth and growls a warning.
When the young wolf whimpers and rolls on to his back, that means he's sorry and he'll wait his turn.
Their favourite food is deer and caribou, but they've only eaten mice and weasels.
Their long, strong legs pound through the snow. If the leader gets tired, a new wolf takes over.
The pack chases the moose until he falls.
The wolves attack and their razor-sharp teeth tear up the meat.
A wolf's jaw is powerful enough to break a moose's leg bone.
He sniffs the air and looks around him. His yellow eyes are wild and wary.

Life is...

Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, don't destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

I did something to do until now on. It's almost dawn. I have made some plan related to funds, traveling, and spending money etc. It helped me to be comfortable.
My room is not colder than before. About this time I need some clothes to put on.
This week is the time I am going to walk out and about here. The fact I am alone is not good. I wish i had some friends. But I have no time to complain about it. Once I have to be out of home and have to feel whatever. That's what I have to do. For that I have bought a bustickets. Now I got a plan. :)

Kiwi Fruit

I have still remembered of "KIWI". One day I talked with my friend through messenger. She said she is working with a foreigner who is from New Zealand and often called 'kiwi guy'. First I didn't know the mean why "Kiwi guy?? = New Zealand??" Anyway I just could find it in dictionary at that time.
By the way, I have finally known the origin of the word "kiwi" because I found the reference to the word from some book. So I put it into my blog as it is. It is as follows.

KIWI FRUIT
Originally from China, they were imported to New Zealand in the early 1900s and renamed "Chinese Gooseberry." They finally made it to the U.S. in 1962, and a Los Angeles distributor named Frieda Caplan named it after the New Zealand national bird, the kiwi. It took 18 years before the American public started buying it.

Ha Ha

I do not feel like keeping a diary now.
I am under some pressures.
I need to take a break.
I am so tired...

(today's brief: (:S)
I took part in someone's wedding anniversary with mom and dad at church in the afternoon)
