I got my core level today that is zero-thirty. I was satisfied with that. And I could know my class. The class consist of thirteen students and there are two Korean including me.

At lunch time I could eat lots of food free. The food was provied by ESL. But one biggest food made me tired. And afternoon with Canadian student who her name is Jann (maybe) we had a trip around universtiy. But I forgot soon where I visited.
I met Germany friend in U & R. His name is Jan and he is just my age. He is smart so got high level zero- fifty. Anyway I invited him to my home for a visite and supper. Of course I asked my mom it was all right and she said yes whatever or whenever. :)
In the evening Rie came to my home to send email but she couldn't. Because I showed her lots of pics in my computer. And she made my homestay dad laugh as I expected. She was so funny. Unfortunately my homestay mom was out of home. She unusually had something to do outside at night. Therefore some day maybe I will invite her to my home again for supper.

Today was my first day to go to school!!! So I had to go to bed early last night and get up early in the morning. I wondered I could get up at 6:00 in the morning? But I actually opend my eyes at 5:59 o'clock. And then I had a breakfast and took a wash and changed my clothes etc. My mom was going to go to school with me because she worried me lost. We got the bus station in time then one girl who looks Asian was about to come there, too. My mom is so friendly so she is able to talking with anyone. Because that, she begain to talk to her. She was from Japan and on her way to school as I was. She was first friend for me in Regina. Her name is Rie. On the way to shcool I happened to know the friends of ESL little by little on the bus. When I got to school, around me there were about 12 friends who I said hello to. Also there were one Korean guy and Japanese guy and about Rie's 10 friends girls from some university in Japan. But I didn't speak in Korean to him. Because I thought It was better for us. From 9 o'clock I began to have the placement test for 2 hours such as reading, writing. It was hard for me as well as others. After lunch time for 2 hours, from 1 o'clock I had the speaking test. It was fun of me. I will be able to know my test result tomorrow. After all tests, with some Japanese friends we went to Health Registration and Shopping in the CornWall center of downtown. I didn't have a chance to go to downtown by today so It was also good.
During my speaking test, It is what both the teacher and me are talking about something face to face, She asked me something about my travels. I was talking about visiting my homestay family who live in Eston. To get there from Regina we should go through Moose Jaw and Swift Current. But I missed something that I did switch the Swift to Shift. It was natural that She was not aware of it. So the story was skipped over another subject. But I didn't reconized that at that time. I told my mom about it, it made her laugh and she corrected it. Then I knew it about my mistake. -_-;;

Finally I will go to school tomorrow. I have waited so long time until now on. It's going to be fun. I will meet many of new students from all over the contry and new teachers. I wonder who I would meet friends.
But now I happened to get a trouble with me. That is what I have to get up early at 6:00am!!! I always have a lot of sleep in the morning. It's a big deal for me. Hurry!! Hurry!! Hurry!! I must to listen to mom about it. And at night I packed my lunch for tomorrow. I made a sandwitch and got a orange can and one banana and so on... I am not sure what is going to happen tomorrow. I just guess something. I will have to have a placement test so all of students for ESL will be divided into each classes. There are 5 level classes such as 010, 020, 030, 040 and 050. I want 030 level class. But I could get 040 level. If I get 040, I would talk to teacher about that I would like to get my level down to 030. Once I will do my best about the test and then I had better think about it. Oh, It's too late for getting up early tomorrow. I gotta go to bed.

One fall I did not have much to do, the fall was nice and still warm, I decided to clean out the dead trees. I piled them up in a low place.
In the spring there was water all around the pile of dead trees, I said to myself now is the time to burn the trees, so I went and got a gallon of gas and poured it on the trees. Then I lit a rag and threw it on the trees. Sure enough there was a rat in the trees, the rat caught on fire and it ran out and towards the haystack that was beside the barn. I chased the rat with a shovel and got it about twenty feet away from the stack, if I hadn't caught the rat, the hay and the barn would have been in flames and burned.

While farming at Crane Valley, Mary's folks gave us two goose eggs; we hatched one little gosling. We also hatched 24 little ducklings of our own. We had them around for awhile. They were three quarters grown and we didn't know that they used to go away on us and be back for the night.
One day our neighbor, one mile away, came over and asked if they were our docks by his place in a ditch where there was water. We walked over to see, sure enough there were our ducks and the goose. We brought them home. We wondered what we should do with them, so we closed them up in the shed.
In the morning we let the ducks out but kept the goose locked up in the shed. All day the ducks kept quacking and parading around the shed, wanting us to let the goose out. The ducks wouldn't leave without their leader "the goose"

Yesterday I knew what my favourite soccer game of England Premier League start at 10:00 am on Sunday. So I made up my mind that I get up then. I obviously got up then today but after about 40 minutes I could be out of bed. As I went running to the living room and turned on the TV. To my surprise, the game was almost ended. It must have been start earler than expected. I had just only 15 minutes watching.

After supper we all in home went driving to church. (every one day of the end of month they go to church) On our way to church it was rainy a little bit out there. The weather must have been warmer than before. Soon we got there and there were a lot of people at church. We began to look for the empty place and sat down. The front stage there were 4 persons who were singing and praying. When they were singing, as others I was singing with looking down at the song book. I always like singing whatever so it was very nice time of me. Although I didn't catch any saying in English, the atmosphere was awsome.

We came back home from church at round 9 o'clock, I took a book to read that is written about the life of someone who used to live in Regina. With reading that book I felt something up to my head. I already told mom about it. That is what my reading is getting better then before. Of course I still have to look up the dictionary so many times but in spite of that I found me being able to understand little by little those sentences in the book. I think always that a language must have own their cultures. So if I don't know about their culture, I could not understand even the language. I might learn a little bit of the cultures? I would like to think so.

...... I remember well my first trip to Regina. The highway from Regina to Moose Jaw was newly graveled (lots of pebbles). Father, Uncle John, Bill and I(8~9 years old) were coming home from Regina. Just before father was debating whether or not he should pass this car ahead of us, luckily he didn't as I could have been run over.

Bill and I were in the back seat, pushing each other over a $.15 Kresgee ball. Bill pushed me against the door handle, the door opened, I tried to hang on, but fell out. I got up and started running after the car. Father and Uncle looked back wondering why it was so cold. They asked Bill, "Where is Mary?" Bill said, "she fell out of the car". Then they stopped. One side of my face was scratched and bruised. In spring Vally Dad bought some grapes and peroxide. I tried to eat a grape but couldn't put it in my swollen mouth. At home I got the peroxide treatment. I remeber it fizzing and burning. ......
