Snake & Turtle

Today, In the afternoon,
My mom took me to the NorthGate in Regina
to see the animal from Africa.
But, I could see only 2 animal, the old turtle and the white snake
because we got there too late.

Kindly, the staff asked me to take a picture me with the white snake.
The skin of the snake was so soft, although I was a little afraid for the first time.
I don't know what is the name of the snake.

After me, that kid did it, too.

Jeff in the green shirt was talking about the snake.
Everyone was so kind, nice and friendly.

Also I could see the old turtle, in spite of the show finished.
he was 65 years old and very quiet.
It looked like he was overcome with his hard life.

Today was warmer and warmer, even hot, in the afternoon.
And There were nothing any snow around me.
I got out my skate and ran around home.
Later I will go on a tour to university with my skate.

I could play all by myself!!
Because nobody was there.

After feeding to the cows, the red car stuck into mud!!
So They were trying to pull the car out of mud with quad bike.

Finally I did it. I had a chance to ride it!!
After I learned how to control, I could drive it by myself.
It was really exciting!!

(Apr.1st.06) Story #1

This Satureday was my Dad's birthday.
From a few days ago we were gonna go to Calvin's home in Assiniboia.
He is my homestay's second son.
We started at 11:00 to Assinaboia.
On our way to Assiniboia, (Here might be in Assiniboia)
we droped by a certain cemetery.

What a nice day it was.

I had a short time talking with here resident.
Little girl's name is Louraien, and her neighbor is Denaiy.
When I started to talk to her first time,
I said to her, "Hello, I am from Korea"
she said "What? What are you doing here?" Haha
But, I was sorry because I think little lady got the fear of me.

(March. 31. 2006) When Jan came my homestay...

When Jan who is German and in ESL
came my homestay, we had it.

April 4. TuesDay. Meet Tim who is a student of U&R and studying English that is his language. Although he looks Asian, he was born in Regina. He is Hiroki's conversation partner. He is a good talker.

April 5. WednesDay. Rubic's Cubes. During the Grammar & Writing class my teacher showed us his skill of a Cubes. He was a very very good at it. He did it within 2 minutes to be arranged all. He said he can do it only within 1 minute.
When I came home back, I was very tired. So as soon as I took a shower, I went to bed. that time was before 9 o'clock.

Today, it was the day I had first class. I got up early in the morning and I got to school at 8:10 o'clock. and then the class started at 8:30.
I had 2 classes, core class in the morning and grammar & writing in the afternoon.
the mood of the classes was quiet than expected.
During the Grammar & Writing classes, when the teacher asked students "Do you like writing?" , but most of students answered that they didn't like writing but me. Probably the teacher would get a shock because he asked them again "Then why did you choose this class?". But nobody answered.
I could not hear any English-talking from the place lots of students from same country get together. That's too bad. I wanted to talk in English but I couldn't. Maybe I may be looking for other particular partner to talk English. Because I came here to learn English and I want to be good at English much more than anyone else. So I felt worse when I was at school listening to Korean-talking more than I was home.
Anyway I got three homework today. It was easy to do. I did it.
The time when I had been here for 2 months before the class helped me so much. I have leared so much for the time although I didn't recognize it. I appreciated it.

I am in computer room of library in U & R right now. friends of esl around me are chris, rie, yuri and oops i forgot the rest one. We all met on the bus on the way to school in the morning. We are waiting until 10:30. Because Anyone did not know that we don't have to get here by 9:30. But rie she wanted to came here this time to send some email.

I don't have anything to do. So I am just writing to my blog. ahh... I have to visit ESL office to ask someting such as how to pay the tution fee of esl and give Janice short note from my mom etc. First of others I have to meet Jan and ask him about it.

I am bored... I want to talk to anyone through messenger but there are nothing. What am I gonna do? Send email? to who? I don't want to use my language while in here -_-;

I have had lots of things from last Friday until today Sunday. This tims is ten after eleven o'clock at night. I have to get up early next morning at 6 o'clock, so I don't have enough time to keep my diary now. I am going to be brief something I experienced and then I will write about it in detail later with some pics.

Friday: My friend who is in ESL from Germany came to my home. He had lunch and supper with us, me and my homestay parents. I hope he had a good time with us.
Unfortunately, he said he could not come with us to Assinaboia or Cranebelly tomorrow. he was not familiar with this time yet. So he needed a enough rest.
I didn't give him the message My mom told me. Did I misunderstand what Mom said? Anyway I should need to listen carfully to anyone because I often misunderstand.

Saturday: I got up 9 o'clock in the morning. One hour later we started to Assinaboia. I think it took 2 hours to get there. There we had 2 events, my dad's 68th birthday and 85th anniversary of aunt of my homestay parents.
I took a walk around the place for a half hour. I went to park and met 3-year-old Lourien and her neighbour Denaiy. Denaiy wonderd why I was here so I had a talk with her about it awhile.
And then we headed to Kalvin's home who is second son of my homestay parents. He had a wide and open prairie and lots of cow and some calf. I could see of that next day.

Sunday: The point I experienced the day was riding quad bike. On the quad I went around and about his farm. It was very nice and interesting running the wide hill with the quad. When with the quad I ran on the highway to go to another farm after my dad and his son in the car, a little after the car was made stop and my dad said you had better go home, you could get a ticket. So I came home back alone, I enjoyed by myself near his home.
In the evening we visited any hospital in Moose Jaw because my mom's friend was there. She could not move at all. Only she could talk to us but it was also weak. My mom looked after her while in there.
