Min's Life in Canada (1st): 2006-04-23

I got up at 5:30 and watched the soccer game, but chelsea beat mu, 3:0. too bad.
2 hours later, I went to garage sale and met Diannie who kept Kokoro for about 10 days temporarily and met Kokoro and her host mother.
I bought RCMP 2 dolls from there. Happy!!
In the afternoon, I went to school to do homework riding a bicycle. It took only 20 mins to get there. It's faster than bus.
To able to ride a bicycle was great so made me feel happy.
When I got to school, I was surprised because I met a lot of friends there, Rie, Yuri, Junko, Chris, other korean girls, and class mates. they must have been afraid of their presentation as well as me.
I did homework at school until 7:30 and went back home.
and begin to do homework because I knew that I will have no time tomorrow.
I will go to church in the morning and in the evening 2 times.

I went to downtown by 9:15 am.
After giving my article from the internet to teacher,
we all went to the Sports Museum and the big Library.
And then, I came back home and went to library and
borrowed a video "four weddings and a funeral"
and fell asleep until 6:00 pm.
In late evening, I watched the video with my dad.
Really good!!
I will have to get up early in the morning tomorrow,
because I have to watch the soccer game, "Chelsea vs MU" at 5:30,
and then I have to go to Garage Sale because I promised my friend to meet there.

but I didn't sleep until 2:00 am.

I watched movie "SPEED" during the "Slang & Idioms" class. Good!!
That class finished late than expected. Maybe at 4:40 o'clock.
Until 6:00, with Chris, waited for Rie, Yuri and Mai. and went home.
Tomorrow, I will have a class tour with all 030 class near the downtown.
And I have to research something for my speaking presentation to give to the teacher tomorrow.
But, I fell asleep.

Yesterday, I got a message from Maria who is Chinese and a student of university of Regina. The message was that she will have a her birthday party in the evening today. So, now I am waiting for the time I will go there at the library.

Lots of Chinese Students of U & R

I like writng but I may not like writing. I am really poor at writing about some fixed topic. My Core class time and Grammar and Writing class time, I usually do it, but my empty head doesn't work. I couldn't find a way I have to write about some fixed topic. It is difficult to write in Korean, too!!

Talking with someone is needed because I can't know everything about them.
So, I think it was a good time. I hope I'll have this time another day.

Church

I went to church with Rie's homestay family for the first time. I got up at about 8:00 and prepared to go. At 9:20, they drove up to my home to pick me up. I thought there were a lot of differences from the Korea's church. Although I didn't catch what they said, but I was satisfied only with that.
My mom wanted Rie to invite for supper. So, I asked her about it, she answered ok. At 2 o'clock, I went there again. I got some recipe for my presentation from Haleigh for tomorrow. in the late afternoon, with Haleigh, Brady and Rie, we played trampoline and ball game. During playing basketball, Rie was really good shooter. I was suprised.
In the evening, Rie came to my home for supper. Mom and dad liked her very much. I thought they looked her as a daughter. She was very satisfied with supper. And my mom gave her some food for lunch tomorrow. After supper, I helped her presentation homework.
I haven't felt like this so far. But today I was happy. Although it was busy day and I haven't done my homework yet, but I am ok. I can start it from now on.
