Min's Life in Canada (1st): 2006-04-30

I was still at Chris' home. For lunch, I ate Ra-Myun that Chris cook. Nice!!
We went to the Wall Mart and bought something.

Close to supper, I went back my home.
My home was empty. Because mom and dad left somewhere for someone's anniversary.
They will com back in late evening tomorrow.

Today, midterm was done. I think my listening was terrible.
In the afternoon, I went to gym in school and played basketball and volleyball with a lot of ESL students. After that, I went to Chris' or Yuri's home with Rie. But he was not home. The supper was really great - legs of chicken, potatoes, and vegetable!! Tonight, we went to the club and danced with bears.

I had the midterm speaking presentation today.
It was not too bad. But i am so tired.

May. 3th:
I went home at 11:30 pm.
I practiced my speaking presentation for tomorrow.
I think my cought almost got away.

Rie gave me some candy for my throat. Thanks.
I heard something that made me feel down.

I got up at 8:00 am and prepared to wait for Rie's family to go to the church. But, Rie will not go there. I met Lester, Bonnie, Brady, Haleigh, and her friend Halery. It was nice to see them. Also I met Junko at the church.
After that, I worked hard for my speaking presentation until 3:40 pm, because Rie would come here for supper and the church to sing. My homestay family like her very much. I went to Rie's home to take her on inline skate. Angelo from Mexico and in ESL came here for the same reasons. When she came here, she showed us a lot of her pictures.
The supper was great. Rie liked a kind of fish so she looked happy. And then, we all went to the church and sang a lot of songs. We usually go to that church once the end of month.
After service, we went upstair to drink coffee or tea and some food. I met Pastor who is doing TaeKwonDo. So, I got some information from him. And also we had a good time, talking with each other - me, Rie and Angelo and Pastor as well as my dad and mom.
What I felt so sad today was what I got a cold because I wasn't able to sing at church. My cough was too bad to sing.
